Burn 300 Calories in 22 Minutes
To torch more calories than running a six-minute mile, you could cross-country ski uphill at a crazy-fast clip. Or you could swing a cast-iron kettlebell for 20 minutes to get the same sizzle. To turn up the burn even more, we found a fitness fusion firm-up that melds pound-melting kettle bells with heart-pumping kickboxing. Each energizing exercise in this mix sheds and sculpts, remaking your shape.
The trainer Russian-born Dasha Libin (her grandfather taught kettlebells to the Soviet Army!), co-owner of Anderson Martial Arts in New York City, created this clever kettlebell-kickboxing combo.
You’ll need A 10- to 15-pound kettlebell ($30 and up).
The plan Warm up for five minutes (shadowbox, jump rope—you decide). Then do each three-move round, performing every exercise for one minute. Take a one-minute breather between rounds. Try the sizzle session three times a week on nonconsecutive days.
ROUND 1
works abs, butt, thighs
Stand with feet staggered, right leg in front, holding kettlebell horns at chest. Rotate torso to left as you bring left knee toward right elbow (as shown). Return to start. Repeat quickly on opposite side. Continue for 1 minute.
Tip-top toner
works arms, abs, butt, thighs, calves
Stand on tiptoes, holding kettlebell upside down by horns at chest; squat (as shown). Stay on tiptoes and stand, straightening arms overhead, then lower kettlebell behind head until forearms are parallel to floor. Reverse movement to return to start. Continue for 1 minute.
Liftoff
works shoulders, arms, back, abs, butt, thighs
Stand with feet hip-width apart, holding horns at chest. Lunge left leg back, raising arms overhead (as shown). Stand, kicking left leg forward as you lower arms to chest. Return to lunge. Continue for 30 seconds. Switch sides; repeat.
Bridal Gown Breaks World Record
The Andree Salon, a Bucharest fashion label, hired 10 seamstresses to toil away on the Guinness World Record-breaking dress for 100 days. The imported material alone, including French lace and Italian taffeta, cost around $7,300. That's not including labor and the dramatic floating runway show.
On Tuesday, a model wearing the dress was hoisted into the air outside Bucharest's Palace of the Parliament, for all the world to see- in particular- The Netherlands. The Dutch country previously held the longest train record (it wasn't even a mile, ha!).
The victory was particularly sweet, in light of a feud sparked between the two countries, after Dutch leaders campaigned to keep Romania out of the European Union's visa-free travel zone.
"If the Netherlands does not allow us into Europe, we'll take them out of the world records book," Alin Caraman, an organizer of the train's big debut, told the Associated Press.
And they did, with the near-maniacal passion of a bridezilla and a 1.85-mile train, roughly the width of Manhattan. If a real bride were to walk down the aisle in that dress, she'd need a venue the size of four football fields and an entire NFL team of bridesmaids to hold the train. Don't get any funny ideas, Kardashians.

Alcatraz (TV series)
Plot summary
On March 21, 1963, over three hundred inmates and more than forty guards disappeared from the Alcatraz island prison without a trace. To cover up the disappearance, the government invented a cover story about the prison being closed, due to unsafe conditions, and officially reported that the inmates had been transferred. However, federal agent Emerson Hauser (Sam Neill), a young San Francisco police officer tasked with transferring inmates to the island in 1963, is one of the first to discover that the inmates are actually missing and not transferred. In present-day San Francisco, the "63s" (as the missing inmates and guards are called) begin returning, one by one. Strangely, they haven't aged at all, and they have no clues about their missing time or their whereabouts during their missing years. Even more strangely, the government has been expecting their return, and Hauser now runs a secret government unit dedicated to finding the returning prisoners; this unit was set up long ago in anticipation of the prisoners' returns. To help track the returning prisoners down and capture them, Hauser enlists police detective Rebecca Madsen (Sarah Jones) and Dr. Diego Soto (Jorge Garcia), a published expert on the history of Alcatraz and its inmates. The 63s appear to be returning without any memory of where they have been but with compulsions to find certain objects and to continue their criminal habits.

Dr. Seuss' The Lorax (2012)
Dr. Seuss' classic, environmentally themed children's book comes to the big screen in this tale of a young boy who encounters a cantankerous forest creature after venturing outside of his artificial city in search of a tree. Ted (voice of Zac Efron) lives in a town where nothing is quite as it appears; everything is plastic, including the plants. Hopelessly smitten by the beautiful Audrey (voice of Taylor Swift), who dreams of one day seeing a real tree, Ted boldly leaves the city determined to find the flora and grant her wish. Along the way, the young adventurer crosses paths with the Lorax (voice of Danny DeVIto), a diminutive, mustached defender of nature who doesn't take kindly to human intruders. The better Ted gets to know the Lorax, however, the more he learns that his newfound friend has good reason for being a bit surly. Also featuring the voices of Betty White, Ed Helms, and Rob Riggle. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
